Hustlers in the Club

DISCLAIMER: no. this is not my story. I’m reblogging this because I think with all the recent success people tend to forget how sweet the guys actually are. It’s a really cute story. Also, what she says about waiting? Completely true.

I just got back from the All Time Low show, words can’t even describe how amazing it was.

I can’t put a read more for pictures so, as a warning, I’m now going to tell you about my day…

Alright so I left my house around 3:30 to go pick up my friend. We got to the venue around 4 and lined up with the rest of the Hustlers that were there. We pretty much just spent the whole time waiting talking to each other, they were some of the nicest people ever, I don’t get why so many people don’t like the people in THC. But yeah, I made some friends who loved All Time Low as much as I do and the wait went but really fast. This guy, Michael, from this band that was following ATL’s tour came and talked to us about his band, he was really nice too, I ended up buying their EP hahaha. Paradise Fears, go check them out because they’re actually really good.

Matt came to get us around 5:20. He told us what we could and couldn’t do. Then Rian, Jack, and Zack came out, Alex was late because he got lost in the mall [yeah the venue was in the mall so~]. I talked to Zack first, we hugged and he signed my PUOSU booklet. I asked him what he thought about Canada and the mall, he said it was nice and he said he went to the waterpark before the show and rode all of the slides [yes, there’s a waterpark in the mall as well]. Then I went to Jack. Ok, he is the nicest person ever. I asked for a hug and he lifted me into the air. He signed my booklet, I gave him my letter I wrote for the band, and then he went to give me a high five, and he took my hand and twirled me. Then I went to Rian who was drinking some Starbucks [or course haha]. He was a fucking sweetheart, ok they were all just so much more amazing than I imagined. He signed my booklet, and he saw my WATIC cd and he began examining all their autographs on it. I asked him what he did before the show, he pointed at his Starbucks cup, I couldn’t really remember much of the conversation because I was so starstruck. Then Alex finally got there. I told him he was my hero and he said, and I quote, “Thanks love”, I died. Then we hugged and he signed my booklet. Then, right before they had to leave, Colussy whipped out a flip cam and started filming Alex. Then Matt said they had to go and I went to the merch table, I saw Vinny, he was not rude or a douchbag [but maybe that’s because the hoards of fangirls hadn’t come yet~]. We went a got a place on the barricade right in the middle of where Alex and Zack would be.

So as the venue started to fill up, this annoying ass bitch came up behind me. She kept trying to shove me to the side, didn’t work, I’d go to hell and back for All Time Low, there was no way I was going to be pushed aside by some stupid bitch. Unfortunately she didn’t get the message and all through Mayday Parade’s set she kept shoving her arm infront of my face, like her elbow was pushing against my cheek. But anyways, Brighter was the first band that played, you know, they were actually pretty good, and their set was short so~ hahaha. We Are The In Crowd was after, fuck, Warped Tour last year so this was my first time seeing them, AH-MAZING. Mayday Parade was after them, and like I said before, the fucking bitch kept pissing me off with her arm so I couldn’t really enjoy their set as much as I wanted to, but they were still fucking awesome.

Then the techies came out and started setting up for All Time Low. Danny came out, and I guess I was the only one around my area who knew who he was. I said hi [well screamed it] and he looked up, smiled, and waved :’D

Then All Time Low came on. OH. MY. GOD. It was so fucking amazing. All the emotions that I was feeling just started pouring out in tears. I didn’t cry during their whole set though, I was way too happy. I was fucking watching four guys who pretty much changed my life play the music that helped me through so much, of course I was ecstatic. Their set was fucking perfect [the only sad part was that they didn’t play Six Feet]. The stage banter, that was one of the things I was most excited for, they were fucking hilarious. I cried during Therapy and during Remembering Sunday. The set ended way too soon, but like I said, it was perfect. They were everything I imagined and so, so, so much more. And Jack promised that they wouldn’t take four years to come back, he better be serious about that. Five years was way too long of a wait.

When they left, my friend and I stuck around to see if we could get a setlist or picks and we did.

A piece of advice to anyone who wants to get something. If they let you, stay by the stage until you’re the last person still in the audience. That’s what we did and I got the setlist and three of Jack’s picks.

So in conclusion, this was no doubt the best day of my entire life.
